This video has been going viral because it's THAT good:


You see- here you have a guy who is doing a one-man show in Los Angeles, which is NOT the world of theatre, but he knows he needs to get some buzz going. He does IMPRESSIONS people- this is not the form of acting that gets a huge crowd, but he found a creative way to do it, and could advertise it- FOR FREE on the new medium of the web.

In No More Waiters, I write about how to think creatively and how to get audiences and income from your inspirations. Jim has done a wonderful job of doing that with his impressions.

The new kid from Saturday Night Live got his job because of his ability to do impressions, and I guarantee that Jim here is going to get a lot of work after this. Good work sir- an EXCELLENT Entreperformer!

I started with redesigning the website for "No More Waiters- How To Build Your Acting Career Without A Day Job" and I also messed with our facebook page!

I don't think I'll ever work ALL of my magic here, but I wanted to help more people!!

Watching this Colbert segment reminded me to write this down:

I was shooting a new spot for SEARS the other day, and I had a conversation with the marketing guys. I was telling them about what I thought TV was going to be like in the future. I told them about what I wrote in the "21st Century Actor", but the next part of it is that I think TV shows will get money based strictly on the revenue they create through SALES of affiliate products.
"If people buy shoes during your TV show, we'll pay you a percent".

It's really how bloggers make their money, so I just wanted to be sure I wrote it somewhere.

You have been warned.

Pornstar Jenna Jameson to Take Broadway?

That's right ladies and Germs- you read it right.

Now, it's just an article I saw on a Porn blog (I read it for the articles),
but the bald-faced truth is that putting Jenna Jameson on Broadway would
likely SELL TICKETS to the show.

The article says she went in for an audition for ROCK OF AGES, and it went well.

I've been saying it for years- It's ONLY about GETTING BUTTS IN THE SEATS!!
I was also JUST TODAY telling someone that if you want to see what the future holds
for our acting profession- especially in this 21st Century- you have to pay attention to
the business model of porn actresses

Here's why I say that- They mostly start out as strippers or models, and learn that
they can make some not bad money doing the films- but the actual reason to do the
films is to INCREASE THEIR VISIBILITY (so to speak).

The Adult films are the way they get known, so they can demand MORE money when
they perform at strip clubs, or escort.

It's NO DIFFERENT than some stand-up comic's HBO Special.

Both the stand-up and the porn actress do as much as they can to create a FOLLOWING,
and then do their best to give that following value for their money, so they do appearances,
special shows, and internet chats and blah, blah, blah.

It's actually what MUSICIANS are learning to do also- they now have to give their music
away and hope that people come to see them perform live. It's NO DIFFERENT.

And for Broadway, this mysterious elusive dream for the beginning actor,
 it's always only been about putting the butts in the seats- nothing else.

Of course, now with porn stars on stage they may have to clean those seats more often...

I shoot a campaign for SEARS...

I booked a large Christmas campaign for SEARS, and it was a lot of fun, but definitely hard work. We shot a ton of stuff on green screen, and a lot of behind-the-scenes footage. We even did a SEARS rap video! I don't know what will make the cut, but here's a picture of some of the cast:

I also posted a video of me lip-syncing the rap for a little BTS footage.

I have been putting off "releasing" this blog, but when I saw this video, I absolutely knew it was time for me to do it. This video is made by an editing artist, and it obviously took time, effort, and know-how. The ultimate ENTREPERFORMER creates a business or work that they do for LOVE-
